Description

Craigiryn is an early 19th-century house constructed of stone, featuring a brick front elevation and a slate roof. The building is two storeys high and has three bays. The principal elevation, which faces east-southeast, is symmetrical and includes a central part-glazed door set within an open pedimented doorcase supported by scrolled brackets. Above the door is a semi-circular fanlight with intersecting glazing bars. The windows on both floors are 16-pane sashes, each with rubbed brick wedge lintels. The gable stacks are partly external. At the rear, there is a two-storey, two-bay wing that has additional lean-to structures on the north side and at the end.
