Description
Neuaddllwyd is a large farmhouse built around 1830-1840, designed in an 'L'-shaped plan with the main facade facing east across the river. The structure is made of red local brick laid in English garden wall bond and features a hipped slate roof. It stands two storeys high with an attic. The front elevation is symmetrical, showcasing a central boarded door with an overlight and 6-pane sash windows, while the first floor has 4-pane sash windows and shorter windows for the attic space. A plat band runs along the facade. The side elevation windows were replaced with timber in 1996. At the rear, the wing also has three storeys, and the main roof extends over a narrow service area at the back, which spans the full width of the main building and includes contemporary windows on the north end elevation. The property was not accessible during the inspection in May 1996.
