Description
Manor Farmhouse is a farmhouse built in the mid-18th century, which was later extended and refronted in the early 19th century. It is constructed of brick and features gabled and hipped roofs made of slate and pantiles. The building has a brick plinth, a first-floor band, and cogged and dentillated eaves. It is 2 storeys tall and has an L-plan layout, measuring 6 bays wide by 4 bays deep.
The windows are primarily glazing bar sashes with rubbed brick heads, along with some 19th and 20th-century casements. The east front includes a projecting central bay with a rendered doorcase that contains a recessed door and a fanlight, flanked by single sashes. Above this, there are three sashes. To the right, there is a set-back bay with a sash on each floor.
Adjoining service buildings to the right are single and two storeys high, featuring a 20th-century door and casements, with a casement above that has a segmental head and a plank door. The street front has a projecting wing to the right, with a French window flanked by single casements on the left. Above this, there are two casements to the left and a round-headed sash with a rubbed brick head to the right. The rear elevations have 20th-century windows.
