Description

This sundial, dating from 1732, is located two and a half metres south west of the south porch at the Church of St Wilfrid. It features an ashlar stem and a bronze dial. The sundial has a round plinth and a round stem with a moulded base and capital. The bronze dial is inscribed with "Tho. Hall Screveton/Jacob Marshall Ch.Wr. 1732".
