Description
The cowhouse at Plas Nant-y-Meichiaid is a farm building, likely dating from the 17th century. It features stalling for ten cows, a feeding walk, and a loose box at the western end. The structure is constructed from stone and weatherboarding and consists of three structural bays. On the northern side, there are two pitching doors and a series of high-level ventilation openings. There is one opening in the stonework on the southern side. At the northern end, there is a lean-to that provides additional animal penning. The roof is a double purlin design.
