Description
The Kitchen and Granary range at Waunmynich is a small building primarily constructed of limewashed stone rubble, featuring a large rectangular end ridge stack made of coursed rubble with a cornice and a datestone. The roof is covered with corrugated material. The building stands two storeys high, with access to the upper floor provided by a flight of stone steps located at the front right.
On the first floor, beneath the eaves, there is a narrow opening divided by a timber mullion, which leads to a deeply recessed plank door positioned to the right. The ground floor features a central planked door flanked by window openings, all sheltered by an unusually long bracketed hood resembling a pentice. Additionally, there is a stone seat along the frontage at plinth level. At the rear, there is a single storey outshut.
Access to the interior was not available as of September 1997.
