Description
Upper Llanbella is a two-storey building constructed of rubble stone with a slate roof. It is situated on a long slope, with service rooms located at the upper end. The stonework shows evidence of various building phases. The lower end features neater coursed rubble blocks and a cambered voussoir lintel above the ground-floor window. There is a projecting rubble stack at the lower gable end and a ridge stack positioned to the right of center. An enclosed rubble porch leads to a modern glazed door. The principal rooms have twelve-pane sash windows, while the service end has casement windows. Inside, the building includes scroll stopped beams and a massive timber lintel above a central open fireplace, which is now blocked.
