Description
The stables at Garthmyl Hall are a two-storey building arranged around three sides of a courtyard, with the entrance to the courtyard located in the middle of the southeast range. This five-bay range creates an impressive façade, featuring an advanced central bay with a pediment, accentuated by angle pilasters. It includes a segmental archway with a lunette above, framed by a moulded architrave. The roof is topped with a cupola. On either side of the central bay, there are two windows, while the upper storey is blind. Inside the courtyard, the left-hand range has a series of double doors on the ground floor and four windows above. The right-hand range features two doors with flat arched lintels on the ground floor and a single loft opening above.
