Description

The Toll Gauger's Hut, located to the east of No 1 The Locks, is a single-storey brick building dating from the 19th century. It features a long hipped slate roof that includes a canopy supported by timber posts, which faces the canal. At the rear, there is a brick chimney above a lower gabled extension. The front of the hut has a wide three-light small pane window set under a segmental arch, along with a plank side door and a second door located at the rear.
