Description

No. 3 Cross Houses is a terraced house, part of a row of three, built with a timber frame and small scantling timber, featuring painted brick panels. The timber framing is painted over brickwork on No. 4, which has a timber-framed east gable. The house has a slate roof with red brick stacks located between Nos. 2 and 3, and against the east gable of No. 4, rising through the roof of a former bakehouse. It stands two storeys high, with each house having one window and a doorway. No. 3 has a ledged door positioned to the centre right, topped with a late 20th-century gabled slate hood. There are modern casement windows to the left and a modern window in the centre of the first floor. The rear brick wall features a pair of iron casements on each floor. The interior has not been inspected.
