Description
No. 1 Plough Bank is an end-terrace house featuring a painted brick ground floor and a timber-framed upper floor with painted brick infill. The house has a steep slate roof and a large red brick chimney stack on the left side, adjacent to Sunnybank. It is two storeys tall with an attic and has earlier to mid 20th century metal windows. The property includes a large gabled dormer that has mock timber-framing in the gable and a triple casement window. On the first floor, there is a triple casement window, while the ground floor has a door to the left and a pair of casement windows in the center. The ground floor brickwork projects slightly, which may be a casing for the timber-frame. The timber framing above features a large diagonal brace on the lower left and a smaller diagonal brace on the top right. The interior has not been inspected.
