Description

Belmont is a two-storey house built of red brick in garden-wall bond, featuring a slate roof and red brick end stacks with external chimney breasts. The front facade has three bays with iron casement pair windows set in tooled grey stone chamfered surrounds, which are flush with rusticated sides and have stone sills. The central entrance has a tall doorcase flanked by plain thin side piers, topped with a moulded stone cornice above a latticed overlight and a six-panel flush-panelled door. At the southwest rear, there is a wing that includes one similar window on each floor at the southern end. The interior has not been inspected.
