Description

The outbuildings north of the Green Inn form an L-shaped group of structures, comprising a roadside range that runs north to south and a lower stables range that extends east to west.

At the southern end of the roadside section, there is a two-storey unit elevated above the ground level. The east wall of this unit, which faces the road, features restored timber framing with 19th-century brick infill. The unit and the adjacent one are constructed from local uncoursed shaley stone and have roofs with varying pitches. There is a small brick chimney at the end, and the front windows of both the southern unit and the adjacent unit have been restored. The rear of these units also shows restored fenestration, including a tall sash window. A set of steps and a porch are located at the gable end.

To the north of these units lies an agricultural range built in plain stonework, which includes some high-level timber framing and boarding at the rear. This range has a door and a loft hatch in the north gable end and is topped with a corrugated iron roof.

The stables wing extends to the west and is also made of local uncoursed shaley stone. The south-facing elevation is nearly symmetrical, featuring four hatches that have been converted into windows (now in uPVC), two roundels that have been walled up and rendered, and a diamond-patterned ventilator above. A stable door remains below, along with another door and two windows that have also been walled up and rendered. The roof is slate, with rooflights positioned at the rear.

The buildings have not been inspected.
