Description
The Green Inn is a two-storey building with an attic, facing south towards the road. It features a symmetrical front with three original windows, constructed from white-painted brickwork that includes a dentil course at the eaves. The slate roof has generous overhangs. On the left side, there is a large end-chimney made of white-painted brick, while a smaller red brick end-chimney is located on the right. The upper and lower windows consist of three lights with small panes, set beneath Tudor label moulds, and all windows are painted black. The building also has two catslide-roofed dormer windows and a large modern gabled porch that includes two timber columns.
To the east, there is an additional two-storey bay, also made of white-painted brickwork but with a smoother type of brick. The windows above and below this bay match the outer windows of the original part and are similarly painted black. The slate roof of this bay is slightly lower than that of the main section, with sprocketted eaves. The property has not been inspected.
