Description

The walls and structures surrounding the formal gardens of Llangedwyn Hall date back to the time when the gardens were in use. The avenue is bordered by stone walls approximately 2 meters high; the wall on the left continues around the former gardens to the west, while the wall on the right partially encircles the former gardens to the east. At the end of the avenue, there is a rectangular forecourt in front of the house, enclosed by brickwork. The northern wall of the forecourt serves as a retaining wall and is topped with iron railings, featuring a semicircular staircase and an iron gate at the center. Currently, this forecourt is separated from the avenue by modern low walls and gates. To the east of the house, the lawn includes two shallow fountain basins and a terraced grassed walkway to the north and east. The southern side of the lawn is supported by a brick retaining wall with buttresses. There is also a modern gazebo and stairs located at the north-west corner.
