Description

This is a stable block forming an L-shaped range, partly with a loft space, dating to an unknown period. Wings extend north-west, north-east, and to the south-east, with further extensions to the south-west. The building is constructed of un-coursed shaley stone with red brick dressings. It has a slate roof with tile ridge details and seven small timber ventilators. The north-east gable, facing the service wing of Llangedwyn Hall, has a raised coping, while other gables have plain roof verges. Outside the stable boxes is granite sett paving. The doors and windows are set within segmental brick arches, with stone or brick sills. Jambs to the openings and quoins are block-bonded to the stonework.
