Description

The North Stables Range with Cottages at Llangedwyn Hall is a long structure that includes sheds and stabling, with estate workers' cottages at each end. The ground rises slightly to the right, featuring a two-storey domestic section on the left with a gable, and a lofted middle section that has the same eaves level. The two-storey domestic section on the right has higher eaves. The building is constructed from local shaley masonry, with the front of the left domestic part being sneck-coursed, while the rest is in uncoursed stonework. Tall brick chimney stacks are present on the domestic parts, and small timber ventilators are found in the stabling section in the middle.

The domestic part on the left has door and window openings with segmental arches made from the same stone, featuring timber cross-windows. In the central stabling section and the right domestic part, the doors and windows, along with the quoins, have red brick dressings that are block-bonded into the stonework. The left side has three bays of sheds, with the first bay bricked up. There are two loft hatches above, and a door with five heck doors to the right. The right domestic part includes two windows above, a door, and three windows below, four of which have horned sashes. The central and right sections reflect the architectural style of the main stables range to the south.
