Description
The garden walls to the south of Guyzance Hall were built in the early 20th century and incorporate re-used gatepiers from the 18th century. The walls are made of squared tooled stone with cut dressings. On the west side of the lawn, a 2-metre high wall connects to the south-west corner of the Hall and features a central gateway. This gateway is flanked by rusticated piers that have pulvinated friezes, moulded caps, and knob finials. To the south of the lawn, a lower wall turns to support a central flight of seven steps, topped with pitched moulding coping.
