Description

The lofted stable at Penmaes is constructed of rubble stone and features a renewed stone-tiled roof with verge boards. The east front includes a cart entry on the left, which has a 20th-century flat head and a 20th-century sliding door. To the right of the cart entry, there is a door, a window in the center, another door, and another window, all of which have cut stone voussoirs with cambered heads and no sills. The doors are made of boards. The end walls have a large loft window with a timber lintel. At the rear, there is a loft door to the first floor on the left, and a blocked door below it, also with a timber lintel. The building has not been inspected.
