Description

The lychgate to the Church of St Bilo is a structure featuring two rubble stone walls that support a stone-tiled roof with gables at each end. Each gable includes an oak tie-beam and a kingpost small truss set into the stonework. Timber lintels span the distance between the walls. On the south wall, there is a plaque commemorating repairs. The lychgate has early 20th-century wooden boarded gates with metal strap hinges and decorative scrolled cresting, along with an early 20th-century single gate located to the right of the lychgate.
