Nantddu

Nantddu is a two-storey building with attics and a single-storey rear section that features a catslide roof. The main part is constructed of rubble stone and has a tin roof. It has two end stacks, one made of brick and the other a larger squared rubble stack with brick dressings. The building has a symmetrical arrangement of windows and a central door, which is a modern half-glazed door set beneath a canopy. The tall, thin timber casement windows are topped with flat voussoir heads. The rear section includes an enclosed porch and two dormers, as well as an original mullion window in the dairy.

Although not inspected recently, it is reported to be unaltered since the Royal Commission on the Ancient and Historical Monuments of Wales visit in 1969. At that time, they noted period interiors that included a good quality open-well staircase, scroll-stopped beams, large open fireplaces, and a moulded door surround.
