Description

The Armoury is a terraced house built of painted stucco and red brick, featuring dentilled eaves and a slate roof. It stands three storeys tall and is continuous with Compton House. The building has four bays, with one bay on the left and three on the right. The top floor includes four flat-headed 4-pane sash windows dating from around 1900. The first floor has four cambered-headed openings with longer 4-pane sashes, also from around 1900. On the ground floor, there is a doorway in the left bay, flat-headed 4-pane sash windows in the second and fourth bays, and a similar doorway at the extreme right, positioned against the corner of Corlan. In 1983, the right end featured a doorway, three modern windows, a blocked opening, and a doorway with two three-panel doors. The interior has not been inspected.
