Description
Gwalia is a two-storey building with three windows located within School Terrace, which includes a small former corner shop to its right. The house features a two-unit layout with a central door, while the shop to the right is a single unit that has either been added to the house or altered from a cottage. The front elevation is rendered, and the building has a slate roof with a tile ridge and two chimneys made of slate masonry. The pavement edge is lined with cobbles.
The former shop on the right side has a small casement window above and an eight-pane straight shop window that is integrated with the door opening.
The house is set on a high rendered plinth that rises to sill level but does not extend under the shop. The windows of the house on the left and the one in the return elevation to the right of the shop are four-pane sash windows without sills. There is a lightly constructed modern porch.
