Description

The garden wall located to the south of Nos 1 and 2 Park Houses is made of brick and features plain stone copings. It stands approximately 2.5 meters tall. The wall is not depicted on T.F. Pritchard's plan from 1771, suggesting it may have been built shortly after that time when Park Houses were extended. This construction likely marked the division between the domestic areas and other offices, as well as the boundary of the kitchen garden. The wall is listed for its group value with Nos 1 and 2 Park Houses and is considered an important part of the layout of the formal gardens at Powis.
