Description

This is a garden wall located along the west side of the garden to the south of Nos. 11 and 12, dating from the early 18th century. The wall features a brick inner leaf set against a rubble wall, topped with stone coping. It stands approximately 3 metres high and includes flat buttresses, as well as a bowed indent to accommodate a change in line. The flat coping slopes down towards the outer face and extends about 100 metres along the west side of the garden of No. 12, with a short return westwards at the south end measuring around 5 metres.
