Description

No. 10 South Green is a house built in the mid-18th century, with extensive repairs carried out around 1982. It is constructed of sandstone rubble with ashlar dressings and features a renewed pantiled roof with a rendered chimney. The house is two storeys high and has one bay. There is a renewed boarded door on the right, which is set under a rendered wood lintel. The front includes a corniced canted bay window and a first-floor window, both of which have renewed sashes and a projecting stone sill. The roof is steeply pitched and has a chimney at the left end. At the rear, there is a two-storey addition. This building is included for its group value.
