Description
Wesley House and Reklaw House are two houses dating from the 18th century, with alterations made in the 20th century. The exterior is painted rough render with ashlar stone detailing, and the roof is covered with renewed pantiles, featuring brick chimneys. The houses are two storeys high and have an irregular five-bay facade. A boarded door leads to a central passage, located in the narrow third bay. The front doors have been renewed and are six-panel doors with overlights; the door to No. 3, on the left, has four panes. Two-storey canted bays have been added to the right side of each house, featuring sashes typical of the late 19th century, with projecting stone sills and cornices. A narrow sash window above the passage door also has a projecting stone sill. The steeply pitched roof terminates in a chimney at the right end of each house. The buildings are included on the list for their contribution to the group value of the area.
