Description
Hazledene and Neville House consists of two houses built in the 18th century with 19th-century alterations. They feature pebble-dash render with painted ashlar dressings and a roof made of dark grey asbestos slates, complemented by rendered and brick chimneys. The buildings are two storeys high and have four bays, with the first and fourth bays being wider.
The entrance to the first bay has a half-glazed 20th-century door with a fanlight, set in a panelled round-headed surround that was relocated from a chapel in North Green during its demolition. The third bay contains a half-glazed four-panel door with a patterned fanlight in a plain round-headed surround. The first bay has narrow plain sashes with projecting stone sills, while No. 21 on the right features two large ground floor sashes with similar sills, along with three plain first-floor sashes. There are three ridge chimneys located at the ends and between the two houses.
