Description
Strathmore and Greystone House consists of two houses built in the late 18th century. They are constructed from coursed squared sandstone with ashlar dressings, a plinth, and quoins. The roof is pantiled with stone eaves, gable copings, and both stone and brick chimneys. The buildings are two storeys high and have three bays, with the third bay being wider. There are paired renewed doors to the right of the second window, with architraves around these doors and plain sashes that feature sill bands. The steeply-pitched roof has marbled kneelers that support the end gable copings, which are only present on the pantiled section and not on the stone flags between the houses. The end brick chimneys are corniced, with the left chimney sitting on a stone plinth.
