Description

The gatepiers, garden wall, and railings at Plas Offa are notable features from the 19th century. They consist of two massive gatepiers made of sandstone, which have square bases and monolith shafts with inset necks and cross-gabled caps. Attached to these gatepiers are large inner gatestops that have scrolled tops. To the right, there are spearhead iron low railings set on squared stone low walls. These railings include a tall matching central iron gate that aligns with the front door, featuring spearhead dogbars and urn-capped standards.
