Description
Llwynyrhededd is a two-storey brick building with an attic, featuring an old slate roof and an 'L'-shaped plan. It has a forward wing on the right (east) and extends to the rear with a lower two-storey kitchen range that has a timber-framed gable. The main entrance is located in the re-entrant angle, consisting of a boarded door with glazed lights, which is enclosed in a 20th-century lean-to. A mid-wall plat band of three courses runs around the building, stopping short of all corners on every side. The west gable is raised and coped with stepped coursed bricks, and there is a ribbed brick stack. The window positions have been altered, leaving straight joints; some iron-framed windows, likely from the 19th century, remain, while others have been replaced in the 20th century. There is a secondary entrance from the east leading to a lobby in front of the main stack. A cellar is located beneath the front wing. The building was not accessible at the time of inspection in October 1996.
