Description

Rubble stone, brick front, slate roofs. Two storey, L-plan main range with hipped roof to front portion and gabled roof with unequal slope to rear wing. Service wing of lower height to left is probably contemporary; a stone plinth is continuous along the length of the front elevation. Further narrow lean-to on extension at rear of service wing. Rebuilt brick uppers to stone stacks, stack to NW side projects.

Three-window front, ground floor openings wider and under flat brick arches; all replacement small-pane sashes of mid 1980's, brick cills. Elsewhere random arrangement of timber casements, some C19 with iron frames, small panes and original furniture. Central, wide, enclosed early C19 brick and timber porch with decorative bargeboards. Front door of six panels. Boarded doors to rear including first floor door on service wing gable end which formerly gave access to servants' quarters and woolstore.

Some original features survive. Right hand room has six panel, raised and fielded door, dado panelling and niche alcove above cupboard doors with H-hinges. The passage-way to the rear wing is framed with an ornate panelled arch and fluted pilasters. First floor doors of two panels with H/L hinges.
