Description
The gazebo at Gunley Hall is a square building made of red brick, topped with a pyramidal slate roof featuring an acorn terminal. It stands taller than the adjoining garden wall and has openings in the center of each side, which are now blocked. The western opening was originally a doorway but has since been altered. Each opening has rubbed brick lintels.
On the north side of the garden wall, there is a brick lean-to structure that is believed to have been a bathhouse, which once contained a tank set into the floor. A door at one end leads to a narrow passage that connects to a door in the garden wall located immediately east of the gazebo.
Inside, the gazebo is panelled and was previously painted. It features bolection moulded panelling with a dado rail and similar reveal linings, along with shutters for the openings.
