16 Crescent Street

15 and 16 Crescent Street, along with 10 Union Court, are three-storey buildings with a cellar, originally designed as back-to-back houses, of which No 10 Union Court still exists. The front is constructed in Flemish bond brick, while the rear is slate hung. The roof is gently pitched, covered with old slate and features a lead ridge. Both the front and back have deep boarded eaves, and there is a central brick stack set diagonally. Each storey has two widely spaced windows; the second-floor windows under the eaves have shallow eight-pane sashes, while the first and ground floors have sixteen-pane sashes. The windows have plain reveals with stone lintels and sills, and there are cellar openings below. The front features paired ornate timber porches with pierced fretwork patterns and panelled sides, topped with swept lead roofs and slate bases. Inside, there are benches and original six-panel doors. The rear elevation is well-preserved with slate hanging and small-paned iron-framed windows, shallow on the second floor, and also has deep eaves.
