Description
The farm building at Henllan is a box-framed structure consisting of five bays, three of which are lofted. It functions as a barn, stable, and for various general farm uses. The building is positioned east to west, parallel to the road on the north side, directly opposite Henllan farmhouse. Its exterior is primarily covered with corrugated steel sheeting, while the west gable and part of the south elevation feature timber boarding. Beneath the boarding and sheeting on the south side, there is rough walling made of brickwork or stonework. The building has lean-tos at the rear.
The left bay (west) serves as a stable with a hayloft, the second bay was used for straw and root cutting as well as feed kibbling, the middle bay contains loose box stabling, the fourth bay is designated for hay storage, and the fifth bay (east) includes another loose box with a hayloft.
