Description
This multi-purpose farm building at Bryn Dulas dates back to an earlier period and features a lofted range beneath an old slate roof. The front is weather-boarded over timber-framing, while the gable end walls are constructed of random stone; the rear of the building is not visible. On the left side, there are four doorways arranged irregularly, leading to a stable, hayshed, barn, and cow-bay. Each doorway has split doors, except for the hayshed which has a boarded door, and the barn doorway is slightly raised. Above, there are three loft hatches, with the central one missing its door, and a small opening on the far left. To the right of the barn doorway, there is a projecting peg that was used for attaching winnowing machinery. There is also a partly ruined stone pig sty on the left.
Inside the barn, there is a threshing bay, with pegged tie beam trusses featuring raked struts and pegged wall plates, and the loft remains intact.
