Description
Bryn Dulas is a symmetrical two-storey, three-window house built in the mild Tudor-Gothic style. It features a central gabled advanced bay and is constructed of plastered brick under a slate roof, with decorative yellow brick end stacks, each having paired octagonal shafts. In front of the advanced bay is a gabled open porch, which has decorative barge boards with pendants and pendant finials, supported by round columns. Inside the porch, there are double panelled doors topped with a Tudor-arched fanlight that has decorative lead glazing. The gable of the advanced bay also displays similar decorative barge boards and features an incised cross at the apex. The windows are paired sashes with margin glazing, divided by a moulded mullion, and are adorned with fine sandstone hoodmoulds, except for the outer windows on the first floor, which sit directly under the eaves. The gable ends of the house showcase decorative open-work barge boards, with a single window on the north end and no openings on the south end. At the rear, there is a lower two-storey wing with a yellow brick end stack. The interior was not seen during the resurvey.
