Description

25 Great Oak Street is a two-storey building featuring a two-window red brick front with stock brick dressings. The slate roof has decorative cresting and a brick chimney stack on the right side, with the left side stack having been removed. The building has pilasters at both ends and in the center, along with a dentil cornice. The six-pane sash windows are framed with classical architraves made of brick pilasters, freestone lintels, and cills. The original shop fronts are intact, showcasing fluted fascia ends and fluted pilasters in the center. The shop window for No 25 is broad and consists of a six-pane sash design, an iron ventilation panel, and half fixed glazed four-pane windows, along with a panelled stallriser.
