Description

The former smithy to Plas Machynlleth is constructed from purple engineering brick and features end pilasters, a cornice, and a stepped design at the center. It has a horseshoe arch doorway adorned with terracotta voussoirs and regularly spaced 'nails', with a label that has scrolled ends. The doors are boarded. The side elevation is made of rubble and brick, and the building has a slate roof with a cut-down chimney stack at the far gable.
