Description

Eaton House is a late 18th century, two-storey, two-window fronted building comprising numbers 15, 17, and 19. Numbers 17 and 19 are rendered, while number 15 is pebbledashed. Ornamental cement quoins are present at the ends of the building and to the right of number 15. The roof is steeply pitched and slate covered, with grouting to numbers 17 and 19, and features wide boarded eaves and large rubble chimney stacks. Numbers 17 and 19 have sash windows with architraves, with 12-pane glazing retained only to the first floor of number 17; the other windows are horned and mostly have 4-pane glazing. Numbers 17 and 19 have simple classical doorcases with modern panelled doors flanked by pilasters, while number 15 has a recessed small-pane door. Cellar openings are present at numbers 17 and 19. Modern, flat-roofed extensions have been added to the rear, along with an older gabled cross range to number 17. The rear of numbers 17 and 19 also has 12-pane sash windows.
