Description
Bettisfield Bridge, located on the Llangollen Canal, is a high, battered, humped-back bridge built with a single carriageway and a single span of brick. The round arch of the bridge has been rendered. The abutments curve out to square terminal piers. The parapet features freestone coping and is slightly corbelled out over the abutments and arch. On the eastern side of the parapet, there is an oval iron plaque displaying the number '48' in raised numerals.
