Description

The Royal Welch Fusiliers Memorial features a central pedestal topped with figures dressed in 18th and 20th century uniforms of the Royal Welch Fusiliers. The pedestal has an inscription honoring those who died in the First World War. It is flanked by low quadrant walls that display inscriptions related to the Second World War. These walls have a laurel-band cornice and sloping copings, and they end in stepped piers with segmental caps and low relief emblems. The quadrant walls enclose a cobbled surface that is elevated by steps.
