Description
The Dog Yard Range is an L-shaped building constructed from painted brick with slate roofs. It is enclosed on the west side by the wall of a waggon shed and on the east side by a wall that forms a yard. The west wall features an opening that likely led to a room used for preparing food for animals. On the north side, there is a door and a window, along with an opening that connects to the limeyard. To the right of this opening, there are three doorways that lead to former kennels. A stone gutter runs east to west across the yard, which has several basins cut into it to create lapping pools. At the rear of the west side, there is a square-section brick chimney that appears to be associated with the former food preparation area.
