Description
This listing describes a pair of Neoclassical gatepiers and attached gates and railings located on the northern drive. The gatepiers are made of sandstone and have a square section. Each pier features a moulded plinth and a panel on the side facing the drive, which is decorated with a carving of a cornucopia and a ribbon drop. Above this, there is a ribbed frieze and a moulded cap that includes an inset panel with a festoon and a flat top. The attached railings and gates are of a simple design, finished with spearhead finials.
