Description
Pentre Bach is a two-storey house featuring a main range and a cross-wing, with a roughcast finish over stone and slate roofs. The eastern gable end of the main range has a projecting stone stack with a roughcast shaft, while the cross-wing has a stone ridge stack. The gable end of the cross-wing faces the road, and the main range to the right is slightly set back with a lower ridge line, suggesting it may have been built later.
There is a small lean-to porch at the junction of the main range and the wing, which is open at the front and has a small side light. The panelled front door is likely from the early 20th century. The ground floor to the right, possibly the hall, features a single central window, which is a two-light multi-pane wooden casement under a dripmould. The upper storey has two similar casement windows, each with red brick sills. The gable end of the cross-wing includes a window on each storey, both three-light small-pane wooden casements under dripmoulds.
Additionally, there is a long single-storey stone lean-to against the western side of the cross-wing, and a lower farm range is attached to the eastern gable end of the main range. The rear of the property was not visible at the time of inspection.
