Description
Danywern is a two-storey house featuring a main range with a later wing to the right and a lean-to to the left. The building is constructed of rubble stone that has been painted cream, topped with a slate roof. The main range has brick stacks at both ends, which have replaced the original stone stacks. The front of the house has two windows; on the upper storey, there are two-light casements on either side of the centre, positioned beneath the wall plate. The lower storey has similar but wider casements that are placed further apart, set under segmental heads. There is a boarded central door located within an added porch. The gable end to the right features a single casement window under a segmental head at the upper right, while the gable end to the left has a similar window at the upper left. At the back of the main range, there is a lean-to and a former bake house projection that includes a tall brick chimney and a boarded door. The lean-to has a Breconshire window in its side wall. The wing has two two-light casements in its gable end, along with a replaced door and window below. The property was not inspected during the resurvey in August 1997.
