Description
The Gazebo, including the attached kitchen garden walls at Gliffaes, is a three-storey structure with the upper storey being narrower and square in plan, built of rubble stone. It features a pyramidal slate roof with projecting eaves. On the south side, there is a first-floor doorway accessed by stone steps that are built against the garden wall, leading to a landing made of a stone slab on a rebuilt pier. The doorway has a large stone lintel and a boarded door. Below this doorway is another boarded door, and in the upper storey, there is a small shuttered opening.
On the east wall, there is a two-light casement window under a stone lintel in the lower storey, a tall two-light casement in the middle storey under a lintel with a hood mould, and a small shuttered opening above. The kitchen garden is divided into two sections, with walls that have been significantly reduced in height. The structure was not inspected at the time of the survey in August 1997.
