Description
The Beehive Pigsty at Peacock Farm is an oval animal shelter built in the late 18th century or early 19th century, using an ancient corbelled technique. It features rubble stone walls and a vaulted roof, although the top is partly missing. There is a low entrance on the south side with a stone lintel, but a former timber shutter is no longer present. At the rear, there is a small opening. The interior is well-preserved, with a lower earth floor.
