Description
Black Lion Farm is a 2-storey house with three windows, featuring roughcast walls and a renewed slate roof with stone stacks at each end. On the left side, there is a wing with a slightly lower eaves line, and on the right gable end, there is a lower bakehouse attached. The windows have segmental heads and are 4-pane sashes. The doorway is located to the left of center, designed in a characteristic vernacular style, and includes a half-glazed door with vertical panels. The bakehouse has a boarded door facing the front and a lean-to oven projection beneath a stone stack on the gable end. Adjacent to the oven is a boarded lean-to with a corrugated iron roof. The rear of the bakehouse features a boarded door on the right side and a small-pane window to the left. The rear wing, which faces the yard, includes a gabled porch with a half-glazed door, an inserted or enlarged window to the right, and a 2-light casement window in the upper storey. The rear gable end of the wing has a lean-to, while the opposite side wall, which is continuous with the left gable end of the main range, has renewed windows on each storey. The left gable end of the main range also features a renewed window at the lower left.
