Description

This is a K6 type telephone call-box, dating from the 20th century. It is a square kiosk constructed from red cast-iron, standing on a moulded plinth. The domed roof features four lunettes containing embossed crowns above ventilation slits and opalescent glass with largely faded red lettering. The sides and door have raised surrounds with marginal bars to horizontal glazing. The door has been renewed in wood.
